Spent a week in Lanta and found this gem on our last day here. Had breakfast and came back on the same day for dinner! Owner lady and her brother, the amazing Chef are super kind and friendly, the premises in very clean and homely, and most importantly the food is prepared with big love! Honestly the best Thai food in Lanta.
Our cheese and tomato baguette was prepared with love, cheese was melted onto the bread and topped off with more fresh slices of cheese and tomatoes! Pad See Ew was amazing, red curry served in carved terra-cotta pot, great Tom yum, som tam, vegetable tempura, pad thai... some of the best Thai we ever had! We sat down near the owner’s bouncing baby grandson, not far from very well fed and friendly cats and a wall of old paper notes of various currencies. Felt very welcome. Ordered a margarita and kamakaza (their spelling) which very decent and inexpensive. The tempura chicken papaya salad was tasty too and the serving was massive, easily good enough for two people. Overall, a pleasant stay, but wouldn't go back with empty stomach, since waiting time can be quite long. Loved my egg salad once it came though, very flavorful...
