Sadly, both the food and service at this branch do not compare to its counterpart in Ekkamai. 😢 As a frequent diner at Ekkamai, I had similar expectations for the food here, but the quality was quite the opposite. The food was lukewarm at best — burger and chips, burrito — and the pancakes were actually cold, like fridge-cold. I initially thought the kitchen was too busy and had missed a step, so we informed the manager about the cold pancakes. She took the dish away and returned five minutes later with the same plate, telling us that the chef said the pancakes were meant to be served cold because they have mascarpone cream. We explained that we’ve had the same dish at Ekkamai numerous times, and it’s always served warm. Unfortunately, she didn’t seem too concerned about the inconsistency.
We went back to the Ekkamai branch today for the same dish, and the lady who took our order confirmed that the pancakes would be served warm and would take longer to prepare. As expected, the pancakes were fresh, fluffy, and warm.
The space at Siam Discovery is much larger than Ekkamai, but the live band was way too loud (and we weren’t even seated near them). I could barely have a conversation with my partner.
Sadly, aside from the drinks, I have nothing positive to say about this location. I was told it’s not a franchise and is owned by the same person. I hope they see this review and work to address the inconsistency in their standards. I will continue to be a loyal diner at the Ekkamai branch.

Read moreLocated at the G Floor of Siam paradise, this IG worthy cafe serves a variety of brunch and cafe typical food. Lulu the piggy seems to be their mascot and is extremely adorable. The cafe is clean and spacious and is a comfortable place to dine in. Service staff is prompt and attentive and all requests are attended to almost immediately. A shout out to Snack and Pie for their excellent service. We ordered the meat overload pizza and pesto pasta with salmon along with a single piece of their spicy fried chicken and a slice of their blackberry crumble cheesecake. We had a long black and a cold brew for drinks. For a cafe, their coffee was abit of a let down. The cold brew being a tad too weak in my opinion and the long black beans more acidic and fruity than I would have liked. The pizza was excellent with generous servings of pepperoni, ham and minced beef! Crust was crisp and pizza dough was light, airy and thin! The pesto pasta was decent, flavouring was good but the salmon was a let down with lacklustre grill on the skin and lacking any fatty salmon taste from the fish. I could do without the seasoning on the fried chicken but the missus seem to enjoy it alot more than me. The chicken I must commend however, was extremely well seasoned and extremely tender and juicy! The finale to the meal unfortunately looked better than it tasted. It was a decent slice of cheese cake but could have been a bit more tart with a stronger taste of blackberries. The cheesecake was dense but extremely silky and creamy. All in all a decent place to eat but probably only if you happen to be in...
Read moreIm conflicted about this place because its very photogenic but the quality is bad. Dont be faked by its nice photos. The pancakes are a big letdown. The pancakes are dry and hard. When i take the first bite, im shocked to find out its COLD, cold as in take-out-of-the-fridge cold, im not talking about lukewarm. I asked the staff why the pancake is cold, as i was expecting some fluffy, moist, hot buttery pancakes placed to order. The staff told me their pancakes are served chilled cold and there is nothing they can do about it, and walked away leaving me very confused. Unfortunately, the pancakes tasted like they were made the day before and taken out of the fridge reheated, it was probably one of the worst pancakes i ve had because of the temperature. It was also hard and rubbery. Trust me, the pancake at 7-11 is better than this 300baht pancake. The truffle egg bun is okay though. Maybe try the other items, just not the pancake. There is also 10% service charge which is a big disappointment considering the quality and service. I wont...
