Duck Donuts Thailand — Restaurant in Pathum Wan Subdistrict

Tried out this donut shop in Siam Discovery. It’s located by the entrance connected to the sky bridge (to BACC & MBK). The shop is eye catching with its bright colors & decor. When I came, the place was looking a bit empty for a saturday afternoon. They actually offer quite a variety of donuts which are made on the spot. Got the Chocolate Explosion, Blueberry Pancake & Beach Ball. Unfortunately for me, all of them are overly sweet. And since it’s made to order, the topping doesn’t really set because the donut was warm. It’s just a bit of a mess eat. The donut itself is also a bit pancakey which is not my preference. The shop is quite easy to find; after getting off at the BTS National Stadium, you just walk straight to Siam Discovery on the skywalk, and it is there. The place has adequate tables and electric chargers. The service is okay, but I want to point out something they can improve; they should recommend the promotion or their donut more actively, they simply just asked what I wanted. Donuts come in a variety of flavours; you can even design them yourself. The texture of a donut is quite cakey, moise, and juicy. Just a heads-up, these things are extremely sweet and will certainly give you diabetes. A cool dining experience—you can watch the staff prepare your order and take photos of the cute ducks everywhere. I ordered Thai Tea Butterfly, which is just Thai Tea with the aesthetic addition of butterfly pea. For my donut, I got Maple Bacon which was one of their best sellers. The donut was soft and I enjoyed the sweetness of the icing with the saltiness of the bacon bits.
