The delicacies served with aesthetics and unique taste on each plate are absolutely wonderful. I came to Siam Center with my sister and had lunch here casually. The place was quite crowded and we needed to stand in the queue - It was about 10 minutes of waiting. This time, we tried the new dishes recommended by the staff. We also had a discount couple so we were able to order the expensive ones which were around 250-350฿. Normally, we only spend around 150-200฿ at restaurants like this, so we were kind of reluctantly deciding what to order from the menu. We ordered Thai-styled pasta with grilled salmon and Penne cheese with shrimp. The pasta was combined well with the spices. It tastes very great so I tried my sister's dish a lot. The salmon also had great texture and smell. The Penne was filled with cheese and white sauce which I did not really prefer. Overall impression was good and my sister enjoyed the food. The staff was very considerate as he tried to recommend the food. He asked so many questions that we felt a little awkward but I guess it was a good...
Read moreWe came as a group and ordered the spicy bolognese sauce, cold soba angle hair with salmon, spaghetti sriracha spicy carbonara with tonkatsu and ebiko and spaghetti spicy sausage, and caesar salad.
So first of all, this is the sweetest bolognese I've ever had, an Italian would spit this out.
The cold soba is so salty I feel like I need a kidney transplant for this. Also 3 slices of salmon and a sprinkle of ikura for 350+ baht? You kidding?
Next, the sriracha carbonara is just horrible, I cannot comprehend what kind of flavour is going on, almost tasted like salted egg yolks.
The only thing that is good from this place is the water and caesar salad which is 229 baht for a small plate of leaves.
If this restaurant wasn't randomly selected from a roster, I would never step foot into this place. I'd rather go to nam nam, spend a bit more for much better quality. Don't call yourself a pasta place when you only have spaghetti and penne to offer. This place is overhyped and overrated to the moon. "Pasta with asian twist?" Yea it sure did twist my face when...
Read moreI recently dined at Pasta Ama Restaurant in Siam Center, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. We tried their signature dish, Spaghetti Carbonara with Sei Racha sauce and an onsen egg, and it was absolutely delicious. The combination of flavors was perfect – a little spicy, wonderfully creamy, and the portion size was generous enough for one person. I also had the pleasure of trying their Fish and Chips, which were an absolute delight. The fish was incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and cooked to perfection. It was a true culinary treat.
Another standout dish was their Spaghetti Ebiko Seaweed, which had a distinct Japanese influence. The combination of ebiko (shrimp roe) and seaweed added a unique texture and flavor to the dish, reminiscent of Japanese cuisine. It was a refreshing twist on traditional spaghetti, and I couldn’t get enough of it. The staff was friendly and the service was prompt. I highly recommend this place if you're a pasta lover looking for a satisfying meal. A definite must-visit in...
