Before you open a cafe—ask yourself: what am I going to do differently?

I ordered my regular—Iced Americano. The trend I’m seeing in Bangkok is weak, sour, overpriced coffee. This place is a perfect example of that.

130฿ for an iced americano is absurd. This is a kiosk in a mall. The seating is communal seating and it’s not even comfortable. I’m not sure how they decided on the price, when Starbucks, located one floor down (which I’m NOT a fan of) offer better coffee, service, comfort, and atmosphere all for a cheaper price.

I also tried a pineapple soda, which was too sweet for my taste.

I won’t be returning nor will I recommend this place to others.

📍Located on the 3rd floor of Siam Discovery. Can be hard to find because it’s tucked away in the corner.

A true hidden gem. I have been wondering around Siam for the good part of my life. I am pretty sure this is one of the best cafe you can find around this area. Good selection of specialty coffee and dessert. Atmosphere here is unmatched; peaceful, secluded, away from the walking crowd, great view onto the urban landscape. Honestly considering the location, quality, and the hospitality, this price point if the least I can pay. This is the place to go if I need a coffee, or a place to sit and work/chill for hours in Siam from now.

I would like to also express my gratitude to the staff. I clumsily dropped the whole cup of my iced black on the floor. The cup was dropped at such a perfect angle that the plastic lid went off, but the gravity alone trapped all the liquid entirely between the ground and the upside down cup! I was going to tell the staff and buy myself a new one but they just straight up make me a new one. Truly sorry for the mess. I am grateful for the kindness. The staff are...

Brave Roasters is a solid option for specialty coffee, offering a quality coffee experience. However, it's important to note a few drawbacks. The language barrier can be frustrating since the staff doesn't speak English, which may hinder effective communication. Another issue is that some of the coffee beans listed on the menu might not actually be available, leading to disappointment. Additionally, locating the café within the mall can be challenging, causing unnecessary hassle for customers. Furthermore, the inconvenience of having to make payments at a different cashier outside the café adds further frustration.
