Food Bazaar — Restaurant in Patong

This mall food court has a good variety of food options and plenty of seating. Prices here are comparable to regular restaurant prices. The food I ordered was hit and miss: I got an oyster omelette that was not that good (the batter was too gloopy), stir fried green vegetables that were great (plain vegetables are hard to find with street vendors), and a grilled octopus that was tasty. There was also a roast duck stand, Hongteh Roasted Duck, that looked good.

Payment here is interesting. You have to put cash on a cash card (there's a booth out front), then use the cash card to pay at restaurants. Anything you don't spend can be refunded to you. When I went in December 2023, they had a promotion where if you used your Visa credit card to charge 300 baht to a cash card, you got a free 50 baht. Food Bazzar is the most popular food court inside the Jungceylon Shopping Center, Phuket. Actually, it's in the basement level. You find a lot of varieties of different types of foods, Chinese, Japanese, Thai and many more.

For Muslims, two halal shops are available here. We experienced food from "Siam Thai Food" shop. The foods are really tasty 😋 and the staffs are really helpful and cooperative.

You need to pay money at the entrance gate and they'll give you a card, by which you'll pay to inside shops.

For dessert, I recommend "Mango Lovers" shop for it's varieties items. We chose mango 🥭 sticky rice, it's really amazing 🤟

Was rather empty on a Monday evening 7pm though at least 10 food stalls were operating. Plenty of available tables - free seating.

Baby chairs readily available but hidden at a corner so need to look harder for them.

Food choices for the toddlers are not too widely available. We bought 2 large pizzas thinking that they are the best option but the Hawaiian pizzas had chili hidden in tomato base pizza sauce. OMG!

The only saving grace here is that food prices are fixed and place is rather clean as compared to the street food at the market opposite Jungceylon mall.
