I decided to go to this cafe as it was featured in one of the local online articles, but it turned out to be quite a disappoinment - due to (1) unfriendly service from the staff, and (2) low hygiene standards. -First off, the cafe is run by self-service. Order at the counter and come pick up the food yourself. I got the "Stir-fried Pork & Basil with rice (Krapao Moo)", "Angus beef on rice", Ham & Cheese croissant and some drinks. In regards to the taste, both food was just average (nothing special really). You can find dishes with the same taste from elsewhere or even from street food stalls. Drinks were slightly better, specifically for the chocolate drink. Notably, none of the staff were friendly, to the point you feel bad for "bothering" them. Asked for 3 small plates for sharing, and got plates with a small bug, and some sesame seeds remaining stuck. Told the staff about it, and she did not apologize or show any surprised or concerned reaction at all. And was simply asking "So you came to return them? Or want new plates?". Being in the F&B, genuine or not, at least you got to show some level of professionalism and empathy to customers...

Perfect closure to our Bangkok trip this time around! Just a few minutes stroll away from BTS Ari, head to the Soi Ari 5 road sign and head to the alley facing it. Walk a bit more and it's on your right.

Great option to bid adieu from Bangkok heat for its cool and calming interior. Food is AMAZING. They churn out Pad Thai different than any other (shrimp is fresh as new!!) another must-order is the Gourame rice (so umami and who needs cracker when you have a tasty fried basil on your side?!). Top off your experience with a glass of fresh Coconut Latte! Genius!

Definitely...

2nd stop after my sub-par experience in Puritan. Thank God for the options of main dish, drinks and dessert. It’s a quiet place to be. I like it here. A place to do work (if you’re a digital nomad), to read (like me) and to just hang out with friends. Bonus part that they got pad Thai tooo 🤓 (happy girl here). And it’s cheap as well only paid 300bhat for food and drink! Portions are good (Asian size talking here, 150cm petite, ok maybe plum? I am not sure which category I fall. Body dysmorphia doesn’t...

This cafe have great drinks and exceptional service. The staff is very helpful and recommends menu items based on your preferences. Today, I tried the Matcha Coconut drink—it was amazing! All the cakes looked delicious, and I went for the orange cake, which did not disappoint. They also serve food, which I plan to try next time. The atmosphere is cozy, with plenty of seating and cool air conditioning. Especially on Sunday mornings, it's not too crowded. Highly recommended!
