I usually don't think much of any restaurants serving dishes from multiple countries. Focus on what you're good at. Don't try to please too many people. But Salt is an one of the exceptions. They serve Italian, Japanese and a little bit of Thai. And they execute pretty well. I ordered the Hamachi dish, salad with sesame dressing, calamari, fried shrimp head, half pizza with parma ham and half of truffle. They are all really good. Maybe the calamari is a bit chewy. And there are so many other dishes that I want to try. So for sure I will return and order more dishes. The restaurant is also nice and cozy. There is a main room, outdoor seating, a couple private rooms. Nice setup.

Food quality was fresh and presentation was good and within expectations, nothing too exceptional. Good ambience and comfort even shown sitting outside. The let down was the service. All the courses came more or less the same time, meaning the main course started to go cold whilst I was still having my starters. Throughout the meal, nobody came to check up on us to see if everything was ok or whether we cared for coffee or dessert. If you do come, I'd recommend the ceviche's, sashimi and hot seafood items as these are done really well

Terrible, don't waste your time or money. Small, overly pretentious servings of food charged at high prices. Service (or lack there of) was poor with waiters not really understanding their own menu. They asked for 900+ baht for a small glass of wine and carbonara which was the smallest meal I've ever been served. I havent ever asked for service to be removed from the bill but I did and complained but they didn't care. Take a look at the size of the main for yourself. You'll be hungry afterwards! Head somewhere else in Ari instead.

Tonight is the worst night for my wine and gastronomy experience. Normally, when we ask the sommelier to test the wine (in Wine Bar Restaurant) to discuss the off-quality wine, we will get the full attention. (Or at least pretending to care)… BUT not here, no no no not here, the wine we ordered went totally bad caused by irregular storage or something. Sangiovese tasted like vinegar with super hot alcoholic stun to the eye.. (definitely not the Italian character).. we asked to change the bottle… Simply replied, "it’s OK to drink just put in ice bucket and i will be like new”… OMG, this is the Wine Bar Restaurant??? Too bad for such a nice and high investment restaurant, with this type of service mind.. good luck, never see...

In the hustle and bustle that is the metropolis of Bangkok, this place is a sanctuary of that rarest of things in Bangkok... space. Sit outside in the open seating and tables, have a beer and a couple of plates to share, and just for a moment, forget about the sensory overload that is Bangkok, forget the crowds, forget the amazing street food, forget it all, just for an hour or two, relax here, and then get back out of this oasis, refreshed, recharged and ready to take on the amazing city you are in. Good food and drinks, stunning atmosphere and service that hits that rare blend of friendly, efficient and...
