I recently had the pleasure of dining at Home Cafe Tha Tien, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! The ambiance was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal.
The standout dish for me was the Pineapple Fried Rice—it was a burst of flavor with perfectly cooked rice, juicy chunks of pineapple, and just the right amount of seasoning. The combination of sweet and savory was spot on.
I also tried the Tom Yum Goong, and it was everything I hoped for in a Thai soup. The broth was aromatic, rich, and tangy, with just the right kick of spice. The shrimp were fresh, and the flavors were balanced beautifully, making each spoonful a treat.
Lastly, the Chicken with Cashews was tender and flavorful. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the cashews added a lovely crunch that complemented the savory sauce.
Overall, Home Cafe Tha Tien delivered an unforgettable meal. The flavors were authentic, the service was friendly, and the dishes were served with great attention to detail. I can’t...
Read moreBrilliant service, pleasant interior, interesting clientele. Very fast dish serving. The menu is moderately extensive and includes the most valuable dishes of Thai cuisine. A big plus is the option to choose spiciness, allowing, for example, to have Tom Yum suitable for those unaccustomed to spicy food. Tom yam and mango sticky rice were tasty. One major and very serious drawback: while eating the soup, I found a piece of metal scrubber in my mouth. Shocked, I continued eating and pulled out a second one. This is not a joke; it can be dangerous for life and health. I informed the waitress, she apologized and I got a 10% discount in my bill. It's amusing, considering it's 11 baht for a potential risk of esophageal or stomach perforation. I'm afraid I cannot recommend this restaurant. I like it so much, but it's not safe. Never encountered such incidents anywhere and anytime. Hair, bristles from brushes - yes, but not...
Read moreWe went here after a visit to Wat Pho, it is very close. Lucky we arrived early (12:30pm) for lunch because not long after heaps of other tourists and a tour group arrived - everyone could not be accommodated so there was a lot of people hovering around our table while they waited. Eating lunch with butts and backpacks in our face was a little bit annoying but otherwise we thought it was a great place. We had papaya salad which was EXCELLENT and a chicken basil stir fry with rice which was also nice. Our 4 year old had fried rice with chicken which (at our request) they mad bland for her and she enjoyed it. I liked that we could order the level of spice per dish. The food was inexpensive and the staff were very nice, they even gave our little girl a treat in the way out. If we are in the area again we would go...
