What. A. View. 🥵💛

We came here on a rainy Sunday evening and was lucky enough to not have to wait for a table (we were told that the line/wait time can get quite long and they also don’t take reservations). I suspect the pouring rain did help but we could still see the stunning view of Wat Arun very clearly without it being overly crowded or loud. It ended up being a win-win 😏

The service is top notch, as multiple other reviews have mentioned. I arrived a bit later than the rest of my party but was attended to pretty much right away when I sat down. Props to the eagle eye (see what I did there..🫣😅🙂‍↕️) server for not letting me sit there for too long without a drink!

The drink itself - delicious. Yes, it’s on the pricier side, but really, you’re paying for the ambience, the stunning culture and view on display right in front of you, and the experience itself.

The rain actually added an extra layer of charm to the experience and atmosphere. I’d return here in a heartbeat over the other overly crowded, more popular rooftop...

Sure view is great but service was the worst. I was waiting alone got a table with food and drinks and was patiently waiting for a table in front to be vacant. I saw one and approached the ones sitting there if I can have it next. But apparently it was already reserved to those who just came.

Ok sure maybe I was not queued even tho I noted that I wanted to be infront and there was a misunderstanding. But the manager did not have to yell at me and cause a scene. I was told to wait as there is a queue. I was alone and didn’t want to cause a scene and so I waited instead. I waited for nothing as the tables gets vacant they kept giving it to other groups. And in the end telling me I can’t sit there because I was alone and would charge me 1500 baht! Why not tell me sooner, why keep changing “rules”.

I’ve never experienced being humiliated like that. Especially from a manager, the other staff already knew they were in the wrong but couldn’t do anything about it.

I suggested going to Sala instead. Better service...

it is definitely a good spot with a very nice view of the temple. however, ill share one pro tip that applies to this specific bar (extra warning if you are alone) which is, DO NOT pay the bills in advance because you will be asked to leave shortly after. 혼자 방문했고, 미리 계산했더니 손님 들어오니까 빨빨 나가라고 두번이나 ㅈㄹ하시네용 😁

i came alone an hour before sunset. i paid the bills in advance voluntarily to avoid traffic. 20-30 minutes after i paid the bill (and during sunset), one of the workers comes up to me and asks me to leave specifically in 10 minutes. then he comes up to me ONCE AGAIN to ask me to leave even before it hits 10 minutes. they would really push you to leave like that even though they obviously know the needs of the customers (to enjoy sunset, duh) but they don’t care whatsoever once they get the money in their pocket.
