Tourists beware: This spot is close to Wat Pho, a major tour spot. You may encounter people involved in the Thailand Gem Scam here or around this area. If anyone (particularly one who converses in good English, and even in your native language) discourages you from visiting Wat Pho (because it is closed, because it is some sort of Buddhist holiday or some other lie) and offers you discounted tuktuk rides to some other "lucky" or "secret" temple, politely but assertively talk your way out of it because you will be in for a ride you'll regret.

Gem scam aside, food at this place is quite good and very affordable. I would eat here again, but will dismiss random...

Amazing food, very quiet because the mindless horde of tourists goes to the restaurant next door, Pad Thai Kratong Thong, and totally miss this gem of a place. I came here because of the stellar Google reviews this place has, and I stay away from overhyped and crowded places where tourists congregate. This place is 🔥🔥🔥 highly recommended. Do yourself a favour and don't be a zombie tourist. Try somewhere new that doesn't have a crowd. It might just be the best place...
