2463 Speakeasy — Restaurant in Phra Khanong Nuea Subdistrict

Beautiful and chic cocktail bar. The ambience is intimate, cosy and inviting for a romantic evening or simply enjoying time with friends. With comfy chairs both at the bar and at the tables.

The drinks are very unique with names and ingredients from different cities and regions of Thailand. The bartenders are friendly and attentive, willing to also customise drinks to accommodate your taste buds.

The service is excellent by all the attendants and the host and hostess. Now the music. There's a live jazz band. The singer is fabulous and charismatic, with a beautiful voice. The saxophonist is incredible and very skilled. One of the best I've heard in my history of listening to jazz bands and saxophonist. He's funny and charismatic as well. We were enjoying so much that didn't want to leave! This one is a repeat for for sure. Give it a try too. Note: the entrance is a bit tricky to find. Pass the hotel down the ramp. I’ll say ~ 4.75/5 stars. 2463 is a very large, well-hidden lounge-speakeasy in Watthana. It’s near the intersection of Ekkamai and Sukhumvit, behind the Civic Horizon Hotel. I was surprised by just how big this bar was! It features mood lighting, comfortable seating, and a really good live band that takes requests.

The drinks themselves were pretty good. I tried a Paloma and margarita (I’m a tequila drinker) and both were pretty tasty. I should note that they put three huge ice blocks in the Paloma which looked nice but also substantially lessened the amount of drink I was getting.

The hostesses were very nice and helpful. The drinks took a little while because they were short-staffed.

I took a photo of the bathroom because it was sparkling (kind of random I know). I think everything is great but that they should be a little less stingy with their ice-to-drink ratio for the price point...

Slow service and very weak drinks. 20 minutes for edamame? 25 min for a cocktail? I could've ordered my 2nd by then - missed profit opportunity. The drinks were quite creative, but with the amount of ice in them not worth the price.

Worst part is the 3-4 tables nearest the restroom can smell the restroom, every time the door opens. Look for where the restroom is before agreeing to a table. Most restrooms don't smell at all, why does this one have to...

The only redeeming quality is the great live music the night...
