Came to check out this new restaurant and have just found our new go-to for Japanese date night!
Service is fantastic. They are very friendly and would explain any on-going promotions. You are presented with wet wipes as you sit down. I ordered a refillable hot matcha tea (40baht) and our server ensured it was always filled. Even left the pot on the table if I wanted more. They invited us back with a smile before we left. 🥺❤️
Food is delicious, not gonna lie. They had service- which meant you get little side dishes for free including miso soup and a fish dish, and at the end we got slices of fresh watermelon! 🤩 My husband ordered the grilled pork appetizer and it was perfectly cooked- tender and flavorful. His salmon, tamago, and shrimp sushi were also yummy! My MIL had the sizzling pork set and she was very happy. I opted for the Crunchy salmon roll, and although it took time to come out- it was absolutely scrumptious. I couldn't have devoured it quickly enough.
Ambiance was nice- some retro Japanese music, subtle decorations, and beautiful ceramic ware.
For 3 people, it came out at about 1,200~ baht. That's amazing value for what we got!
Highly recommend this restaurant. Don't hesitate to...
Read moreI love the strawberry beer, and it's better than the lavender beer that I had also. It comes in super chilled mugs and good that it is half pint, so I get to try 2 of the flavoured beer. They gave me free miso soup, potato salad, watermelon, green tea n egg custard also. The gyoza was fantastic and the fish head comes with cooked radish n other vege too.
While they did say they will give free green tea and desert when U share in google, they do not look at your sharing and take it by word.
Totally enjoyed the meal as the ambience is good and not crowded also.
I came back the next day 29aug and had a fabulous lunch set that is so worth. I ordered the chicken katsu set ( so huge) and then the salad bar is open. It include various items like chawamushi, curry, rice, etc
Totally loved it and the price I paid was B231 only (s$9).
Also, in the afternoon, the delicious gyoza sell at half price. If only I had a bigger stomach, then I would...
Read moreThis place is the deal of the century. So I heard that they have a 1.5 hr buffet for their sides, so we came without expecting much ... Holy cow did this place impress!
Pasta with meat sauce, rice and curry, miso soup, salads, raw eggs, shoyu-pickled eggs, steamed eggs, croquettes with actual minced meat in it (I guess their menu varies somewhat each day) ... all UNLIMITED - within the time, of course ...
We ate probably triple the worth compared to if we had gone to other traditional Jap restaurants.
If you're some kind of professional eat-a-lotter, please be kind and don't bankrupt the place. We still want to come back...
