McDonald's Lotus's Sukhumvit 50 — Restaurant in Phra Khanong Subdistrict

At Tesco Lotus Sukhumvit 50. I asked the girl at the counter if she understood English. She said yes. After getting my order wrong the first time, I corrected her to change the order served at the counter to what I asked for. So she changed the single filet o' fish single to a double. My original order was a double filet o' fish, a regular cheeseburger, one large fries, one medium and one large coke. After paying an extra 40 Baht for the double vs. single filet o' fish (no problem) she finished my order with the cheeseburger, 2 large cokes and 2 large fries. Obviously she understood next to no English. So I gave up and took the order for us as is.

However, the main problem was that, like the McDonald's at Central Grand Rama IX, they killed the sandwiches with way too much sauce. Hey, it's McDonald's so we don't...

Poor communication skills by staff. Also everyone including the manager were incompetent at helping me get Wi-Fi which was the only reason I went in there and ordered a big meal so that I could stay for a longer time in order to send a critical and urgent email. One staff boy even pretended to be a hero and took a look at my laptop. He decided to himself that closing the open browser windows in which I was working and had unsaved work would be a good idea. He proceeded to do so without asking me and to my utter horror lost all my work...

My little brother went to buy some McDonald’s. He said it was great. He got the XL quarter pounder with some Coke he said it tasted good and the onion crunchy things are nice, Coca-Cola is a bit too much and they put a Good amount of rice. We also ordered at the little stations. I don’t know Yukon I was very intuitive and straightforward. There is also options for porridge and more stuff you can’t get outside of Thailand. This is better than other (Australia)...
