Bar Indigo — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Really chill atmosphere, good music, stratospheric wood furnitures inside this open air Balinese style bar that offer amazing cocktails, but with no booze copy stuff. Perfect location in the heart of Hua Hin and quite close from the sea. A place that will provide you nice fresh food, served adequately in the proper way and the right time. Not to mention that they make real coffee with a real Barista machine, not water & powder.

And to conclude, about the cocktails they really do the job and the level is way higher than any average bars I've been through thailand while traveling there for almost two decades. The two young bartenders are very skilled, they search how to improve and one of them is about to start Mixology courses at European Bartender School in Phuket. That is the Scandinavian made world largest Bar School with twenty locations all over the globe in the five continents.

So guess what : the Cocktails are even getting better in a matter of months within this...

I'm sad to say I had to lower my rating for this once favorite spot from five stars to three. This used to be a go-to for the best Khao Soi in Hua Hin, but unfortunately, everything has changed since the owners switched. On our last visit, the Khao Soi was disappointing - the "crispy" noodles were soggy and strangely textured, forcing us to send it back. The new version hardly resembles the delicious dish we remember. The chicken also didn't taste fresh. Beyond the Khao Soi, more changes - when it started raining during our meal, we couldn't find shelter without getting wet, because they removed the sunbrellas. There's a small sala, but we were told it was off-limits and unsafe, which makes you wonder why it's still there. It's a real shame to see this place go downhill after being such a gem before the ownership change. I hope they can get back on track and revive the magic.
