Buffalo 23 — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

I have been starting my new life living in Hua Hin this year and this Bar / Tavern has lots of charm and is a lot like a bar or pub in the UK.

I am a lunchtime guy , not interested in evenings or party-time and all that goes with it. I have visited this bar late morning / lunchtime a couple of times a week for the last 2 months and one thing really does seem to be bad. The 'Boss' seems to believe that having the low quality sound system blasting out music too loud , all day everyday is a way to get more customers to come in.

Today I gave up with her. I was the only customer at midday. Sitting relaxing quietly but the music was totally irritating. Too loud and terrible quality. I turned the volume down. The 'Boss' turned it up again. This went on for an hour or so and then I told her plain and simple.

You just lost the only customer you have this lunchtime. She was not interested in my opinion.

So I paid and left.

Such a shame as I can see the lovely staff that work for her are also sick of this attitude.

Good luck Boss. It would be a much better bar if you try to understand and see you do not need to make a horrible noise to get people to come. They will...

Update - I visited this restaurant today. I have visited several times. On my last visit I posted 4 stars and really liked the place. Today I was with a friend. Four people came in ‘after’ us. We quickly ordered two snacks. One of the snacks came in a matter of minutes. The other did not arrive. So after 20 minutes wait we ‘politely’ asked the waitress where was the food. It’s coming soon she says. After 30 minutes wait I visited the toilet. I see the kitchen and I ask the lady cook if our spring rolls were coming. Soon she said. The waitress overheard me and started shouting at me 😱 Saying four customers had ordered first, which was not true. I could not believe her cheek. Who did she think she was shouting at? I am a customer and should be treated with respect, like I do with everyone. I asked to speak to the manager and she says she was the manager 😱 Are you serious? A manager that shouts at customers? 😱 This girl is out of control and should not be a waitress never mind a manager. I asked for the owner and was told he was sleeping. So if you are the owner and read this, I strongly suggest you deal with this...

Stopped in for a light lunch as they offered a Chicken Ceaser salad. Nice place with wrap around seating with nice view of beach. That's where nice turns to bad. Let me start by saying on presentation of my Ceasar salad I had to ask"what is that" It did not even resemble a proper Ceasar salad. If your chef is going to offer this please learn what goes into a Ceasar salad For a start tomato's do not belong. Nor does grated carott or onion. Cos or Romaine lettuce, grated parmissan cheese, croutons, egg topped with plenty of Ceaser dressing & chicken fillet. Not the fried chopped pieces of chicken dished up. And definitely no pepper. You can also add chopped bacon. It is a very simple dish & when made properly is delicious. This wasn't. Safe to say I won't rush back for food unless I hear...
