Had a chance to eat at this restaurant. The price of the food I ordered was okay. The sea bass was big and fresh. (Note: The waiter tried to persuade me to order expensive dishes, so be careful.) The restaurant is located on a wooden floor that juts out into the sandy beach a little. The other restaurants on the left and right juts out into the sea more. I went when it was dark, so I didn't see much. I could only hear the sound of the waves.
I knew the restaurant closes at 9 pm. At around 8:45 pm, the owner came to ask for the bill and said that I could sit longer. At 9:02 pm, two male staffs came to the table and asked to collect all the plates, leaving only the rice plate with 1-2 bites of food left. It was like they were chasing me out of the restaurant. They couldn't wait until I was done eating. It was not nice at all and it ruined the atmosphere.
So, if anyone is thinking of going after 8:00 pm, don't go. Or if you go, just eat one dish...
Read moreSmall Local Seafood Restaurant but Great Food, Extremely Fresh Ingredient from Local Fisher Village nearby. I order Spicy Sour Soup the signature one call "Kangsom Prik Nok" with the snapper fish and its maw. Very delicious. You can ask for less spicy if you afraid of its hot. But I think it's OK to taste the original. I also order the single sun dried squid. Not to much dried and good to eat with beer. The last one is the spicy stir skewered clam that available for today depends on the fisher catch it up.
Recommend to who are looking for the local taste not the big famous restuarant. But you will not be disappoint. There are many major seafood to order but I'm single traveller can't take the large amount at one meal.
PS. It's starting about 150 THB for each plate. I take them 3 with rice and beer cost about only 7xx THB. Very full meal. I think 2 plates is enough but the staff...
Read moreI have been coming to this restaurant for a few years when in Hua Hin and it certainly never disappoints. Away from the fanfare and elaborate signing of the surrounding restaurants, it is difficult to find and not entirely obvious you would be walking into a restaurant. Take note of its positioning on the map, you will know you’re there when you’re next to an empty block, go through the doorway and down a walk way, you will end up walking through the kitchen to be seated out the back near the water. The menu has a focus on seafood, the whole fried fish being a spicy highlight. I would definitely recommend to all those...
