Halloween at Club Hua Hin Bistró was like entering a portal to a realm where creativity and music collided in the most spectacular fashion. It was as if the DJ had a direct line to my eardrums and knew exactly what I needed to groove to. The beats were so fresh, I half expected a zombie to pop out and start twerking .
And oh, the costumes! People really outdid themselves this year. The Joker and Saw characters were there, of course, doing their best to give us all the heebie-jeebies. But then there were those who took it to another level. I mean, I saw a guy dressed as a human-sized pumpkin Demon. Talk about rolling in style. It was like a fashion show straight out of a horror movie, but with a lot more glitter.
As if the music and costumes weren't enough, the staff at Club Hua Hin Bistró were on a mission to keep our taste buds entertained. Every time the horror music started playing, it was like a siren call for free shots and horror-themed snacks to magically appear. It was like trick-or-treating, but without having to knock on strangers' doors and hope they were generous enough to give you candy.
And let's not forget the drinks! They had a whole menu of concoctions with Halloween-inspired names that would make any witch cackle with delight. I personally tried the "Beetlejuice and Vampires Kiss" and let me tell you, it was spellbindingly delicious. I'm pretty sure there was some sort of enchantment involved because I couldn't stop ordering them.
But the real showstopper of the night was the cabaret performance. The entertainers were not only talented but also drop-dead gorgeous. They danced, they lip-Sang, and they made us forget about our mortal worries for a while. It was like being transported to a world where sequins and feathers reigned supreme.
And just when I thought the night couldn't get any better, they announced the costume contest. It was a battle royale of creativity and style. I was thrilled when I nabbed second place, although I must say, the person who won had dressed up as the queen of Hell. I mean, how can you compete with that level of creative brilliance?
All in all, it was one of the best parties I've ever attended. The atmosphere was so welcoming and accepting that it felt like a warm hug from a friendly werewolf. Club Hua Hin Bistró truly holds a special place in my heart, and possibly my liver, because those drinks were something else. If you're ever in Hua Hin and want to experience a extravaganza like no other, this is the place to be. Trust me, you won't be disappointed, unless you have an aversion to fun and a severe allergy to...
Read moreDavid was an absolute delight, as well as the rest of his family. Even before we walked into the bistro, he welcomed us from.the street as we approached. He and his family /team were all very friendly and warm hearted.
The decor and style is chic and rugged at the same time. Imagine steam punk meets iron works meets an upscale wine bar tucked away in the back of a gay bar (the lights made actual 🌈 on our 🍽 plates ...loved it ).
The menu is expanding, but our group ordered the pastas, fish and chips, KaPao moo, and various appetizers. The ice cream shooter for dessert were served directly after and the portions were just right. Not too much to "roll us out" and just enough to feel satisfied. Our glasses 🥂 were never empty, and as I said before , there was always service with a smile.
Music and ambience was spot on, TV's with fashion shows going, lighting and decorations all worked and honestly I felt like I wasn't in Huahin.
Upstairs there is a gallery, hosting many Buddhist sculptures, variety of paintings by local artists, some beautiful antiques and trinkets. All of the Iron work, art and decor is done by his team (in house)....and it's absolutely wonderful ❤️
A big thank you to David and his family for making us feel welcomed. See you all...
Read moreawe went there for a few drinks, were welcomed by a charming Gentleman David, the Boss. I requested him to show us around & we were really impressed, tender care has been taken for perfection, down to the tiniest detail, a welcoming entrance & really stylish interior, then out the back to smokers 'corner', up a few stairs to the BBQ area, with comfortable seating. We ordered drinks & the grilled garlic Calamari, cooked to perfection, including the grilled garlic, almost too pretty to eat as it was beautifully decorated with a salad & flower. Photo attached. The ambiance, service & overall experience was extremely pleasant, to top it all of, the other really sweet Gentlemen there is called Boy, always vigilant, in case you need anything. A...
