Average food and somewhat farangize Thai. I odered the som đtam medium spicy. It was slightly spicy with only 1 chili. It was a bit too sweet, and not enough nam pla, fish sauce. Green Papaya salad is my favorite Thai dish, and I've had it all over Thailand. Isan cooks make the very best. Grill and Chill Papaya salad was decent as far as the veg mix, but dumbing it down for farang taste ruins it. It also had more peanuts than I care for. The satay was disappointing as it wasn't grillef over charcoal. The accompanying peanut sauce was sweet with plenty of peanut, but was no standout dipping sauce. The satay came with a small sweet/vinegar dressed salad of cucumber, mild red chilli's, and onion that was like a coarse relish, and not bad. It also had several small squares of dry toast that did nothing for the dish except fill out the plate. Prices were moderate, so was my reaction to the food. It's edible, but not memorable Thai food. The staff was friendly in spite if me arriving 30 minutes before closing. Services was prompt. I'd spin the Wheel of Fortune taking a chance on an unknown restaurant...

Drawbacks were that we had to wait quite long for the food even though the place wasn't crowded and they forgot part of...

I don't know much about salads but that was the poorest salad I've seen. 2 stars for taste but cons for size and false ads. Prices are cheap but pay...
