McFarland House — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Absolutely fantastic experience, breathtaking views and enioyed the environment immensely. Very serene, wonderful staff and well made restroom needs to be mentioned as well. Love the setup and i think this is the place to recuperate or take a break. McFarland house is beautifully built and it is really good place situated next to the private beach. Afternoon tea set is pretty big for us and we could not finish them and the staff kindly packed for us with beautiful packaging. Surprisingly there was no mosquitoes and not too windy. Disappointing bait and switch. Booked one month in advance for the afternoon tea, specifying that I wanted a seat close to the beach. Was instead put on a table furthest away from the beach, and staff said we can't change even when there were tables free. We were never informed in advance about the change in the menu, so we got some Christmas-themed afternoon tea set which cost a bit more. Which would've been fine if it was good quality, but it wasn't very good at all, especially the gingerbread cookies that tasted like they were bought from a supermarket. Excellent services!!! We were there for my 50th birthday dinner. We love the surrounding setting. It gave the feeling of a beachfront backyard homey weekend style, not to mention the history of the house. First and foremost, the food was magnificent and extremely delicious!! We've found no false to the flavor of our meals, compliment to the chef!!. Our waitress name was อุ้ม ทัศนีย์, every one was so impressed of how very patient she was and how very knowledgeable about what's on the menu and finally recommended a great dishes for everyone in our party.
