This morning, we decided to visit a charming new breakfast spot near the Cicada Market called "Phyllie."
Upon arrival, we were struck by the quaint and inviting ambiance of the coffee shop, adorned with lush greenery and featuring a delightful little greenhouse in the rear where, to our surprise, we encountered some rather unique long-feathered chickens.
Inside, we were warmly welcomed by the Thai owner and operator, who, despite having lived in the states for a short period, spoke flawless English.
Opting for the daily full breakfast, which came with a refreshing glass of orange juice, I also indulged in a delightful salted caramel iced coffee that proved to be quite delightful. While the food was decent, it was the captivating atmosphere that truly left an impression on us. We discovered that they offer a diverse lunch menu, as well as enticing specials on wine and beer. The cafe itself is not a large space but, somehow, it feels spacious and your pet may welcome the security of distance. The cafe is very charming, with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. The surrounding garden area is clean and nice, and smoking is allowed there. Phyllie has its own parking, but street parking is abundant as well. The food and beverage menu is surprisingly large, with both western and Thai choices. We enjoyed our lunch and espresso based drinks. Phyllie is a very nice place to hang out and listen to good tunes with your pet. And, it sells...
