Pizzeria Da Moreno @ Town — Restaurant in Ratsada

I had great expectations (despite this apparently being a tourist-oriented venue which is always risky but how a place can be anything but stellar when it is located between The Anfield and The Library 555) but they were not fulfilled, it felt exactly like a tourist-oriented venue. The location and interior were good. The service was inattentive and disorganized, for example I asked for 3 times if I can sit in their chair to wait while the table was prepared. and all I got in response was please wait. Surely in part due to the language barrier but still it was very disorganized. I asked for a recommendation and asked what their specialty was (a big mistake) and they recommended me the "special" Pizza Stefano which was horrible (literally heaps of fresh onion rings on a base with one small chicken meatball per slice, ridiculously expensive for what it was). I could not eat it, so bad it was and ordered another one, Pizza Vesuvio which was good. The pizzeria allows peddler children in to sell their junk to customers, which is a big no-no to me. And I was unfortunate enough to have another customers' baby crying nearby for quite some time. Overall, the 2nd pizza was good but the service was not (as many other customers complained, looking at the reviews). It is certainly possible to improve. Also, please do not support child labor by allowing them to work on your premises.

P.S. They have a sign that they do not allow laptops because this is 'not a co-working...

Can this restaurant please take some responsibility for the way their pizza is delivered. I order every second day. Im a good customer and enjoy the pizza as being some of the best in Phuket. However about every other week i receive my pizza like this because the driver has no idea how to deliver or has no way of correctly carrying the food. I would come to the restaurant but the parking is difficult at the location. Please offer your own delivery service or don't give the food to a driver who is unable to keep the pizza flat because they have nowhere to put it. This has happened a number of times now and there is seemingly no action that can be taken so please try to address this problem. I'm really tired of this and am not ordering anymore until this is addressed. When people order about 800฿ food per day they just want what they order and shouldn't have to wonder if they are going to receive a normal pizza or a pizza mess. Also today the extra salami and pesto i paid (120 i think) was forgotten. EDIT: Quite clear this shop does not care. After months of not ordering I called them tonight kindly asking if they could restore the unavailable pizzas in grab that they said were available. Speaking in clear English and Thai they just ignored everything and were actually a bit rude. In contrast to a past experience 2 years ago where the staff were quite nice. Must...

Booked a table here for two persons. Arrived on time, had to wait for 15 min before we got our table. The staff was not paying attention at all, and had no clue who ordered what. They came twice with wronge pizzas for us, that belonged to another table.

When we finally got our pizza it was cold. I told the staff that the pizza was cold. She took the pizza and came back some minutes later with the same pizza, telling that the ham was cold, but the pizza was warm. I told her again that the pizza is cold. She then took the again. Some few minutes later the chef, a young guy, came with the same pizza. This time is was hot because he had put it back in the oven (with the rocket salad and serano ham). When he came with the pizza he touched the pizza with his thumbs several times saying the pizza now is hot. His nails was dirty whitch made it even more disqusting.

I refused to eat or pay for the pizza. The whole restaurant saw the chef touching the pizza and was reacting in shock.

After two mounths in Phuket only having the pleasure to enjoy every meal and amazing service, this place is the by far worste restaurante when it comes to service and also taste of food. I have never expirenced a more unprofessional...
