The Besavana Phuket — Hotel in Talat Nuea

I booked hotel through Agoda. The initial booking was to be for Feb 17-20 in Phuket. I had moved out of the app and looked again. It was the same price so we decided to book as it looked nice and a decent price.

I went through the payment process and received my email notification. It said I was booked for April to May 1! How did these dates get in there I am not sure.

Seeing the issue we immediately called the hotel and told them about out mistake and we would like to cancel the March 30 reservation (30 mins ago and then book on our initial stay of Feb 17-20. She said she couldn't or wouldn't not quite sure but we figure we can put the cancelation through our Agoda VIP. After talking to them they said it was up to the hotel. We decided we would not be booking there until they cancelled out 1 day booked erroneously (it's was 45 days away so seemed a no brainer to secure). The hotel refused to cancel again

Hence my review. I can't say anything about the hotel itself but with the people I dealt with I will never stay there. I leave this review as a warning to those who may stay in the future. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN DEALING WITH STAFF AND MANAGEMENT!!!!!

Horrible experience and the worst ‘service’ I have EVER experienced when travelling.

Our room was a little house on the ground floor, right next to the pool which at first sight looked like a great spot for a hot day in the city.

However, it turned out that this house in the courtyard was located RIGHT NEXT TO a local market, with people and vehicles coming and going from 3 AM (!) in the morning. We didn’t sleep AT ALL due to the sound of the motors and people screaming and shouting. Moreover, there’s no one in the reception from 07.30 (as written on the sign) and no one’s is answering on any of the telephone numbers. So, there’s basically nobody to complain to.

We feel absolutely horrible after loosing an entire night of sleep. This is the worst experience we have had these 2 weeks in Thailand, and what a horrible way to finish a wonderful vacation.

The pool house has the most horrible location right next to a noisy local market, preventing you from getting any sleep at all. Do your research and find a better option in...
