Original: The view is ok but couldn’t enjoy it as there were so many flies (the kind of flies that like to fly near trash and dirty stuff). The tables were filled with ants and fleas and it got all over us while eating. The rice quality is super cheap but the bill was high vs other established restaurants we went to in Phuket. The worst part is my son got extreme food poisoning, high fever, diarrhea, vomiting. Makes me question how are they still in business....
Read moreI ate here on the back of a personal recommendation, after trying 1/2 dozen other places. Easily the best Thai experience I had on Rawai beach. A raw prawn salad was beautifully presented at Thai spiciness levels, a cockle and beetlenut leaf curry reminded me of the nonya / peranakan flavours from Penang and Malacca - for me this helped prove that Phuket really does have its own flavour profile, distinct to the rest of Thailand.
In summary, I think you cant go wrong here. Look at al the other positive reviews for the location and ambience - all I'm adding is that I think the kitchen here is pretty...
