Lobster Market Rawai — Restaurant in Rawai

This place is a scam, don't come!! I had a very disappointing experience at this seafood restaurant. My family of 17 was brought here by a local guide and we feel like we were being scammed. First, we were taken to buy seafood at a nearby stall and then bring it to this restaurant where we were charged a separate preparation fee. On top of that, we ordered some other dishes like fried rice, vegetables, and drinks, which we also had to pay for separately. The prices were exorbitant and the portion sizes were extremely small. For example, two plates of plain kangkung cost 500 baht, one plate of mixed vegetables cost 350 baht, and even the ice for our drinks cost 30 baht. We even had to pay for plain water!

And you have to ask for cutlery one by one, and we ordered few big bottle of Coke and mineral water and it comes without cups, upon request, they only provide you with disposable plastic cups!

In total, we ended up spending almost 12,000 baht for a very simple lunch for 17 people. We only had two fish, one dozen small oysters, half a kilogram of prawns, one kilogram of mantis prawns, and some vegetables and rice. There were no lobsters, no big prawns, and no big fish. It was a complete rip-off and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Save your money and go somewhere else where you will get better value...

DONT COME! ITS SCAM! I paid for the seafood but they ask me for the processing fee, which is even expensive than the seafood. Other than that, there’s service fee on top of that! The worst is the service, totally messed up, a guy took me to the counter and disappeared, I couldn’t find him and don’t know what to do, waited like 30 minutes, and they were not processing my seafood and they like almost dead. SCAM SUPER RUDE...
