So walking down this amazing road full of amazing food this one kind of stood up because I’ve always wanted to try an 🥚 egg tArt and the only reason I wouldn’t is because it just didn’t appeal to me however this one did!
This one is made from croissant quest, organic free range eggs, 100% French butter with a layer of caramel and that layer of caramel is what got me to buy these however before I even realize that there was a layer of caramel the smell of these tarts was too tantalizing!
These egg tarts were quite big and they were 95 baht for one - and I just bought one because I know that if I were to buy more than one it would be too tempting to sit and eat these amazing tarts!
When you are in this road walking along and you run across the shop called yolk - you must stop and buy one or two or five 😂
Highly recommend this place for a quick little dessert!

Read moreQueue management is ridiculous. I was at CTW stall two weeks ago and first batch was sold out. We were asked to stand in queue for 30mins while they’re baking for 2nd batch. (Their staff ain’t in rush. They just took things easy; not care that queue was piling up.) We can’t just order and come collect later (which we can go shopping and having meal). Waste of time. So i didn’t try that time.
Yesterday i went again and saw a queue. I knew that i can’t get 1st batch and so decided to go have my brunch first. Later, came for it. This time they changed queueing system. I queued at 11:30, got to order at 11:40 and asked to collect 12:30. But by 13:00, still not ready and told to come again after 30mins. Original flavors were plenty but need to wait for matcha. They can’t do the math?? They counted orders but can’t manage the baking of the just only two flavors.
I had both original and matcha. Big piece and so is the price. With this price, nothing is beyond expectations though. Not worth putting much effort on the long and poor queueing. Well…....
Read moreI had the pleasure of trying the Yolk Egg Tart, and it was absolutely delightful! The first thing that stood out was the perfectly crispy, flaky crust, which had just the right amount of crunch without being too heavy. It held together beautifully, providing a great contrast to the soft, creamy filling inside.
The real magic happened when I took a bite—the rich caramel filling oozed out, creating a luscious and indulgent experience. The balance between the buttery pastry, smooth egg custard, and the slightly bittersweet caramel was just perfect. It wasn’t overly sweet, making it easy to enjoy more than one!
Each tart was baked to perfection, with a golden-brown top that added a slight smokiness to the flavor. The texture was velvety smooth, melting in the mouth with every bite.
If you’re a fan of egg tarts, this is definitely a must-try. The combination of crispy pastry, creamy filling, and the surprise of leaking caramel makes it a unique and unforgettable treat. Highly recommended for anyone with a...
