Tin Mine — Restaurant in Sakhu

I stayed at the hotel. Tin Mine is all day dining, I had tried 3 meals there,  breakfast had a lot of choices and there was a section just for vegetarians.

I found the taste of the food fine, no dragon fruits or mangosteen though, the congee was too oily, the dim sum already didn't look very good (I didn't try) because they were all cramped into individual steam baskets, you should not cramp so many delicate steamed items into one basket because they will stick with each other.

I tried to use the coffee machine to get hot water and it didn't work and I notified a staff and it seemed they knew already and it was still not working when I left.

The croissant was not buttery enough, too flimsy. The tuna was not tasty at all, the salmon was fine. All in all, an average breakfast buffet.

As for lunch and dinner,  I had tried the beef Burger which was quite good, using the "black bun " I guess it went with the Tin Mine theme. I tried Fish and Chips, it was good too.

I found a sharp pin size bone in the salmon on my last day, it was dangerous especially for kids and...

The ambiance and customer service was the highlight of our meal (because the food sure wasn’t). We ordered kids fish & chips, gluten free pizza, and passion fruit sorbet. I did not like the fish - it still seemed to have the skin on it and there were some hard pieces inside of it. The gluten free pizza was fine. A thin crust with very little tomato sauce, and very thick pieces of pepperoni. It was shockingly small for the price (maybe 8”). The sorbet was fine. Nothing special there. The food here is good, but the service is simply disgusting. When I walked in, no one greeted me or showed me to the table. I had went in and sat down myself. The first waiter clearly does not add half the amount of wine to the glass! I ordered a second glass from another waiter to check and she filled it up normally. I turned out to be right. I’ve been sitting for 30 minutes after finishing the dish, and no one has cleared the dirty plate from the table, this is a screenshot of the time of the photo that I attached to the review....
