Naiyang Boutique Resort — Hotel in Sakhu

Stayed 6 nights and during the first 4 the toilet flush did not work at all, so I wasted hours of my holidays waiting for them to fix it. Then the hotel manager accused me of breaking it by putting paper inside, which was never the case. The shower was not working. Very low pressure, small, old and no hot water. No coffee or tea, no breakfast. There's a restaurant there that opens at 11am and quite expensive. Bed was extremely hard and springs were broken. Never an apology until I decided to take action and change room. The new room was fine but the staff was noisy chatting just outside after midnight and I stayed there only the last 2 nights. The staff refused to help me when I asked assistance to move my things to the other room as I was alone. They spoke Thai and walked away. The cleaner was extremely unfriendly never saying hi or smiling. I saw her opening and searching in a bag in another room. Probably not her bag. Towels and sheets were never changed. The cleaner just refolded them. The hotel is selling weed at the reception which I'm not sure is even legal. At the reception was working a kid probably underage. My friend has been harassed and insulted in the street by people sitting at the hotel reception, probably staff or their friends. I reported it to the manager who told me will check camera and let me know, but haven't seen her anymore. At the check out at 8.30am was nobody at the reception. Hotels nearby are cheaper and better. This place looks relatively new, there are 10 independent chalets, and each one has a set of comfortable twin beds, a large LCD TV, a bar fridge, hot water kettle, a cupboard with a safe, a toilet cum shower room with hot water, and free wifi. And the air-condition is great. The chalet comes with 2 free bottles of water and 2 sachets of coffee. But there is a small dry grocer right opposite the place, so it is easy to resupply. The only thing to reconsider is the flimsy sliding door, which doesn't provide any sense of security, so carry your jewels with you when you leave to take a walk.||It has an open verandah in front, with a table and a chair, and a rack for wet clothes.||The "resort" main entrance is closed when I was there, access is via a permanent opening facing the dry grocer, where the office and the bar (still under construction) is located.||Location-wise, it is a 8-minute walk to Naiyang Beach, and all the eating and massage places along the beach. There are 2 ways to access the beach, one is a 150-metre long 2.5-metre wide passage between the fences of 2 more expensive resorts, the other is much wider and more open, about 50 m away to the north on the road; both are used by motorcyclists, too. The first one is lighted at night, the second one is lighted by the shops that lined the half nearer to the beach.||Cost of taxi to the airport was 200 bahts, and only 10 minutes away. Tolle Übernachtungsmöglichkeit wenn man kein 5 Sterne-Hotel braucht. Die Bewertung bezieht sich zudem auf den thailändische Verhältnisse im entsprechenden Preissegment. Wir haben hier über Silvester 3 Nächte verbracht um erstmal "anzukommen", da die Nähe zum Flughafen nur knapp 3 km beträgt. Man hört weder im Zimmer noch davor Fluglärm. Die Rezeption ist Zeitgleich ein Shop in dem man Cannabis erwerben kann. Das ist seit 2022 hier legalisiert worden und somit an jeder Ecke zu finden. Einfacher Bungalow mit kleiner Terasse, Schlaf-/Wohnraum und Bad mit Dusche. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, wir haben unseren Wunsch nach Doppelbetten bereits bei der Buchung geäußert. Die Matratzen sind hart, was wir mögen, allerdings konnte man teilweise die Federn spüren. Das Bad könnte an manchen Stellen einige Putzeinheiten mehr vertragen, aber auch das ist für thailändische Verhältnisse im Vergleich mit einfachen Hotels absolut in Ordnung.

Nice to know: Die Toiletten können durch das Klopapier manchmal verstopfen. In dieser Unterkunft sind sogar extra Schilder im Bad angebracht, die darauf Hinweisen das Papier NICHT in der Toilette zu entsorgen. Im Klartext heißt es, das Papier "danach" in den Mülleimer zu werfen und/ oder die ebenfalls vorhandene Toilettendusche zu verwenden In der gesamten Gegend laufend vereinzeln wilde Hunde herum, die aber von sich aus niemanden belästigen kleines Hotel, insgesamt 10 Zimmer dieses "Boutique Resort" bitte nicht mit dem "Beach Resort and Spa" verwechseln (teilweise auch in den Rezensionen passiert

Besondere Vorteile: Bar/Restaurant direkt angeschlossen Frühstücksrestaurant kurz daneben (etwas teurer, allerdings dringend zu empfehlen wenn man zwischendurch mal ein gutes, europäisches Frühstück braucht) vernünftiger, sauberer, Waschsalon mit großen Maschinen ebenfalls kurz daneben (Wäscheservice überall viel zu teuer, besser selber waschen) Entfernung zum Strand ca. 5 Gehminuten, eher weniger Klimaanlage im Zimmer, wir fanden gut kühlend und sehr leise Safe im Zimmer täglich frische Wasserflaschen jeweils kleine Portionen Handseife, Shampoo, Duschgel, Duschhaube vorhanden Handtücher und Föhn vorhanden kleiner Kühlschrank vorhanden TV vorhanden, haben wir aber nicht benutzt keine Mücken im Zimmer oder in der Klimaanlage, draußen zu unserer Reisezeit allerdings auch so gut wie keine Personal soweit freundlich, wir waren aber ständig unterwegs und hatten daher keine großen Austausch das Hotel hat natürlich keinen Meerblick, aber das weiß man ja vorher. Die Lage ist relativ ruhig und man hat einen kleinen Blick ins Grüne

Wer sowieso eher unterwegs ist, dem ist diese Unterkunft sehr zu empfehlen, Preis/ Leistung finden wir toll. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden jederzeit...
