McDonald’s (Don Mueang International Departure) — Restaurant in Sanam Bin Subdistrict

I spilled my drink once and it was really embarrassing. The staff were very polite and cleaned it up quickly, though! Good quality food, all the favourites & cheap compared to my country. They have the screens to order from in english & the very helpful staff speak english as well. Great location & has a cool outdoor area upstairs. Craving for American hamburger, so dropped in this McDonald’s for quick lunch before take off. It surprised me that the price here is cheaper than in my country, I ordered the Big Mac combo, 89,000 dong ( around $4.00) ! Cheap, cheap!👍👏👍👏We found the chicken nuggets really tasty! Plenty of seats. Good clean store, friendly attentive staff. Free wifi and heaps of tables. I have to say that the quality of the food here was better than any maccas that I have had in airport, big call but it's true. Absolutely the worst experience I’ve had in Thailand. I arrived around 1 AM and the self-order machine was off, so I went to the counter to order. I called out several times, but no one came — the staff were in the kitchen chatting and completely ignoring me.

When a female staff finally showed up, she literally threw the menu on the counter without saying a word. No greeting, no eye contact — just pure attitude. I tried asking her questions, but she kept rolling her eyes and acted super annoyed, like I was disturbing her for doing her actual job.

I wanted to order the spicy chicken burger and she just said “1 or 2?” with a blank face. Excuse me? One what? One burger? One set? No explanation, no effort to clarify. If your English isn’t great, that’s fine — just try to be a bit more polite instead of acting like customers are a burden.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but this McDonald’s really disappointed me. First off, the service was painfully slow. I waited over 20 minutes in the drive-thru for a simple order — just a cheeseburger meal and a McFlurry. When I finally got my food, the fries were cold and soggy, the burger looked like it was thrown together blindfolded, and of course… no McFlurry.

I tried going inside to sort it out, but the staff seemed uninterested and borderline rude. No apology, no effort to make things right. Just told me, “We’re out,” and walked away.

This location clearly has issues with both quality and customer service. I don’t expect gourmet food from McDonald’s, but I do expect it to be hot, accurate, and served with at least a little professionalism.
