Hakata Ramen — Restaurant in Sirirat Subdistrict

Today, July 9, 2019 at the time of 20:00, my girlfriend was trying to make an order at this place.

She ordered a "Tempura Sōmen" and the female staff kept asking her if she want shrimp or pork for that order. In which my girlfriend reply she want it "Tempura" (which literally means fried seafood/vegetable in Japanese.)

Then the staff repeats her question again and my girlfriend repeats her answer, this went back and forth a couple of times. Until my girlfriend explain to her what Tempura means, then the female staff literally scolds to my girlfriend in anger that they ran out of shrimp.

Wow, never seen this level of uneducated waitress before. You work at a "Japanese" restaurant and you don't know what "Tempura" means? Then you raise your voice in anger at your customer for correcting your ignorance?

Hope you close down soon, you fake wannabe Japanese...

Good to try but will not come again.

I got a cash voucher from the health check-up programme. So I decided to try this restaurant.

Food quality - they can do it better I ordered the original ramen which i would get all side dishes for the ramen consisting of black fungus, a bamboo shoot, a boiled egg, and chashu pork. Black fungus came with its stem which makes the crispy texture rather than tender. But the worst is bamboo shoot, I swear I got only a piece of bamboo shoot. The soup is a bit creamy and oily.

Service - Moderate The staff are good at serving. They did not mention what they were serving though. However, they should change the new menu. I got an old...

Ramen restaurant under MK group. Locate on 1st floor beside of Yayoi and MK. Same policy as MK that has NO service charge and contribute some revenue to the Siriraj hospital. Not crowded, no long queue and not expensive. Delicious. Small portion but full enough. Can order meal from other...
