If you had taken the riverboat, maybe you would have noticed this little oasis on the banks of Chao Phraya featuring a towering glass gazebo around the vicinity of Memorial Bridge. The drive to this place is through Somdet Chao Phraya Alley 3 which itself is a very interesting but narrow driveway. It is no tarmac, it is a red tiled road. On the walls of these narrow alleys, one finds several colorful murals just like those seen in Talad Noi not too far away on the opposite bank of the river. We were here one very hot afternoon. They have a sizable parking lot. An archway made of red bricks reminiscence of those historical old forts makes the entrance. The walkway to the shaded seating area was laid with bricks. Just this part of the restaurant already commanded lots of social media postings. Several guests were seated by the river happily enjoying the view. In the middle of the compound there is a large tree. Spiral stairway built around it led to a viewing platform above. The vides given here is the likes of a lovely English Garden (minus the English cool temperature.. . .). We did sit outdoor by the river at first, but I melted like butter. It was either jump into river to cool down or move indoors. So, we moved into the greenhouse. Greenhouse = glass trap heat = the air-conditioning fighting the 40 degrees Celsius and it was a losing battle. I was eating the ice leftover from my orange freezy drink just to cool down. The main building housing the coffee machine and pastries was much cooler, but they only had 3 to 4 tables and there were hoggers there. I guess coming on a normal day instead of a public holiday will be much better. This place not only serves coffee tea and cakes, but they also have a menu of proper meals. They look good, but we just had our lunch. I think coming here in the evening and dining into the night over beer will be divine. Maybe...

The atmosphere was perfect for a nice evening meal with friends or a romantic dinner with a significant other. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.
Now let's talk about the food. It was nothing short of amazing! The dishes were perfectly cooked and had an abundance of flavors that left my taste buds craving for more. I must say, the food was one of the highlights of the evening. What's more, the live music added an extra layer of magic to the dining experience, providing a calming background to the delicious food.
However, there was one downside - the flies. There were a lot of them which was a bit of a nuisance, and we had to keep swatting them away during our meal. But despite that, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the evening.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Tsai Eatery to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience in a beautiful setting. The food, atmosphere, and live music are all top-notch. If you don't mind the occasional fly, you'll definitely enjoy a great meal here. I can't wait to come back and try more of their...
