ภู Kitchen สวนอาหารริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา — Restaurant in Wang Burapha Phirom Subdistrict

My younger brother who lives in Bangkok recommended this restaurant to me. Whenever I return to Thailand, I usually come here with my family for the dinner buffet, which used to be good.

Recently, I tried the breakfast buffet at 79 THB. At first, it included chicken noodles, rice noodles with spicy curry, rice noodles with coconut curry, and rice with curry. However, after visiting 3–4 times, I noticed that several dishes were removed from the buffet line — fried eggs, omelets, yellow curry with salmon, and salmon head in soy sauce.

What disappointed me most is that the official Facebook page still shows these dishes in their promotion, but when I came to the restaurant, they were not available. I felt misled by the advertising. The food was also served very slowly. I came around 12:00–12:30 but spent only 30 minutes eating one plate of rice with dishes I hadn’t intended to eat.

On the same day, I also saw another customer return their food because it smelled bad. To be fair, the restaurant did replace it, and I appreciate that. The service staff are attentive and quick to clear tables — that part was excellent.

But overall, the inconsistency of the buffet and misleading promotion left me very disappointed.

**Not recommended at all, especially for foreigners. The food is refilled extremely slowly, and the menu is very repetitive. I felt misled by their promotion — what they show is not what you actually get. It feels like a scam. Better spend your money...

Came to ภู Kitchen by the Chao Phraya River and bruhhh this place is so chill I thought I’d accidentally walked into a meditation retreat with grilled fish on the side hahaha 🐟🧘‍♂️🌊 The riverside view? Romantic enough to make me wanna propose to my grilled prawns. The vibe is straight-up cozy — fairy lights, soft breeze, and the occasional boat floating by like it’s part of the background decor 🚤✨

The food? Flavor cityyy! Ordered some grilled river prawns and they were juicy thicc bois with smoky vibes and sauce that slapped harder than Thai drama plot twists 🦐🔥 The spicy seafood salad came in like “HELLO, DO YOU FEEL ALIVE?” and my tongue was like “yes… but barely” haha 🌶️💦 Even the steamed fish? Swimming in limey, garlicky heaven. And the rice? Fluffy like it came from a 5-star spa 🍚💅
