Café Amazon Koh Tao — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Not much in the way of food here, it's pretty much just a coffee shop. Live on the island and have noticed many people having issues trying to order as staff don't really speak much English and struggle with words like Frappe and Latte etc, which is a bit of an issue for a coffee shop. Today I had a similar issue trying to order a Frappe, even had one of the staff point out the item I wanted on the menu behind the counter, but they still got the order wrong and then insisted it was my fault for ordering the wrong thing. Which as I got them to actually point at their own menu item and they still got it wrong seems as though it was more the not wanting to loose face Thai thing. If they learn what all their menu items are in English it would help a lot as a lot of Non Thai customers do visit...

Ridiculous service. I asked for a hot matcha and they refuse to make it even though all they had to do is steam the milk and pour it over the matcha, they even have a hot matcha ad hanging on the wall. Really makes no sense at all. I wasn’t asking for something crazy, same procedure you do for an iced matcha make it for a hot one steaming the milk.
