Kokomiko — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

Only one lady can speak English (probably the owner) We were the first table in the restaurant. Since no one can speak English, we need to write down the order by ourselves. And after almost an hour waiting, they started to serve food on the table. However they missed several dishes. They figured it out when the rest of us finished the food and gave them the reminder. We went in there due to German food, but some items were sold out.

Tom Yam soup is very good, I got a kick of spicy every sip. They processed the shrimp well and clean. German pork chop is not that good, it has a weird smell of meat when you chew it. Other meal is alright.

I think they should improve the service, one of waitress is not friendly. The owner has to take care of the guests and also check the kitchen which might slow down...

This restaurant is nice and cozy, minimalistic and looks good. Feels authentic to thailand. Not many people are there and the menu is pretty large. Staff is kind, but doesnt know english well, thats okay for thailand tho so no big deal. But the menu isnt really good, you dont have any info about things in the dish you want, only basic ones. Even large pieces of mushrooms are not mentioned in the menu so it was kind of disappointing to see mushrooms in my dish, when I didnt even know. Even tho the restaurant was empty it took like hour and half to get our food. Except that it was good, food was really tasty and no other problems happened. I can recommend you to visit this place but ask the staff if you dont eat some...

I went to this restaurant with my wife and daughter. We decided to give it a go as it was in front of our resort and with good reviews. It ended up being a good choice for all of us. It took a little to get our orders served but I have to admit that they told us there was time to wait given that we entered the restaurant at the same time of two other groups. We had bruschetta with tomato, pad thai, spaghetti with tomato and German sausages. Everything was cooked properly and the mash potatoes were really soft and tasty, not the usual powder we are used to nowadays. We will most probably come back tomorrow too to try...
