Unfortunately, we had the opposite experience of almost everyone here.
Every single item we ordered was disappointing: The spring rolls were so oily you couldn't taste anything else and it left a coating of oil that stopped you tasting the next dishes. The yellow noodle chicken had no flavour (lucky there's lots of condiments on the table to add flavour), and 4 small pieces of chicken. The fried noodle cream sauce which we asked with no pepper or chili (allergies) was absolutely covered in pepper. When we took it back, they scooped it off with a spoon, mixing half of it into the meal, making it inedible. The pork curry was so watered down and had so much chili that it was impossible to taste any of the ingredients.
In 30 years of travelling to Thailand, 3rd trip to Koh Tao and 1 month this trip, this was easily the worst meal we've ever had. As I'm typing now, I still have a coating of oil from the spring rolls which was the first dish.
For about the same price, and 10 times better, try Samosa, Pud/Pooh or Mama Tam. All similar price and 10x...

The food was very disappointing especially as they use stock images & the dishes look nothing like the photos. The curry massaman curry did not have a drumstick or cut of meat, but rather thin slices of overcooked chicken & undercooked potato and onion in a very watery curry.
The pad thai was okay but lacking in taste, they did not have any fish sauce available and it tasted too much like tomato sauce. Unlike the photo there is no Kai lan (Chinese broccoli) at all. Perhaps it’s catered towards foreigners?
The morning glory was tasty but they serve too much stem.
The menu’s photo do spring rolls looks they serve a whole plate but when asked about serving size they said they only give you 3.
Staff were friendly but our server had a nasty cough… 😳
Don’t go here at sunset if you want to be eaten alive...
Read moreA truly authentic place run by mama, who everyone seems to adore. We were also very happy initially with the overflowing portions of very tasty shakes. However, our enthusiasm quickly turned when we realized there are barely any vegetarian dishes. Even the mixed veggies are cooked in oyster sauce. I ended up choosing a shrimp pad thai and stressed many times that I don’t want chicken, only shrimp. Nevertheless, the food arrived with both chicken and shrimp. We offered to take (and pay for) the wrong order but asked for another without chicken but mama was unwilling to make another one. Surely, this is just a miscommunication issue but I saw everyone else around us struggle with conveying that they don’t want meat. So if you decide to try the food but have specific dietary requirements come prepared with thai...
