Mr. Crab — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

With only a 5 day stay, we went to Mr. Crab two lunches in a row right before we left. Their food is amazing, especially their curry soup. We've tried both the green curry and red curry soup, both have great aroma and tastes, and serve well as sauces for the spicy fried rice. In a hot summer day, the watermelon shake is the best way to cool off. We had to have two each on the first day, and one to finish off the lunch on the second day(had a mango shake first on the second day). Absolutely disappointed! I don't understand why this place is called Mr CRAB!! The crab I ordered was awful, just a tiny portion and tasted like fried smth but not a crab. Staff doesn't speak enough English to give you clear explanation about the dishes on the menu. Location is just on the market so forget about cozy atmosphere. Moreover, it is overpriced and untidy. Incredible food! Both the western and the Thai food! We came almost every day and enjoyed every meal we ate.
