Tiger Mala Restaurant in Silom may serve good food, but the appalling behavior of the staff completely ruined my experience. I don’t know how to use chopsticks and politely requested a fork and spoon to eat my noodles. Not only did they refuse, but they handed me a massive Chinese soup spoon instead, as if mocking my request.

What followed was outright humiliation. I was forced to eat with the soup spoon while enduring smirks, whispers, and outright laughter from the staff. Even the other diners joined in, emboldened by the staff’s complete lack of professionalism. A kitchen staff member even scoffed as he walked past my table, adding to the insult.

This wasn’t just bad service—it was bullying. The staff clearly lack basic decency, and their condescending attitude made it clear that inclusivity and customer respect mean nothing to them. No one should leave a restaurant feeling humiliated and degraded.

I came here because of the good reviews from Google but I was very disappointed with the food. I have ordered some mala skewers, crawfish, pig intestine on hot plate, cucumber salad and eggplant with spicy chilli and garlic. The mala skewers seems like they were deep fried and were not well marinated. It’s quite bland unless u dip with the mala powder given on the table. Crawfish is so bad! Seems like they served those frozen pre-packed mala crawfish. The crawfish has a smelly taste and the meat has been shrunk to the extent that we could barely feel it existed. We barely touched the Pig intestine on hot plate because it was so bad. The intestines were deep fried and they have an unpleasant smell. The eggplant was food and the cucumber salad was ok. We were a group of 3 who came for dinner at a quiet time. Only 2 other tables were filled. There were at least 4 service staff who were not particularly busy. We put in our order using their app. We were waiting for 40 minutes for food to arrive until we asked if our food would be coming soon. The staff checked and said the order had not come through on their computer system. We showed them our mobiles which showed that the order had definitely been confirmed and gone through.
