Nice clean restaurant, and service is very good, welcoming and competent. I'm not as experienced with Pakistani food as I am Indian and Lebanese, so I'm mostly comparing my experience to those styles. It's seemingly similar to Indian food, but the Butter Chicken here is way too sweet. Actually, all their sauces are super sweet. Even the chili paste I asked for was sweet. In this regard, I didn't enjoy the meal as much as I enjoy the nearby Indian and Lebanese restaurants. Normally, we can get a good non-sweet spicy sauce and garlic toum. My wife was also disappointed there was no papadum available. We tried the "Pakistani shawarma" which tasted like Chicken Tikka wrapped up with coleslaw style cabbage/carrots, and again with a sweet sauce. Not bad, but can't compare this to Arabic shawarma. The thing we liked most was the Harabara Kebab, which reminded me of falafel, but it's made from spinach, peas and potatoes. With a spicy sauce or garlic toum, those would be even better. Overall, not a bad meal, but more suitable for people with a big sugar-tooth. Also note there's no alcohol/beer...
Read moreWent late night walking with my child. Stumbled across Lahore and went in for dinner. I ordered dahl makhani with garlic naan. My child had chicken and rice although asked for 'no spicy' guess what arrived? A Spicy number that blew her socks off. She soldiered on and ate what she could.
We took the remaining left overs in a container and fed random street cats on our journey back to the hotel.
Service is quick, efficient, friendly. They close at midnight so get your skates on fast....unlike the couple who rocked up at 1145pm and had to be turned away. My dahl was flavoursome and delicious. I smashed the whole lot without regrets and never shared any of it as my 15yo turns her nose up at my choices of vegetarian food. Naan bread was nice too.

Read moreI had the shawarma from here. Was decent enough to be considered shawarma, but not donner kebab. Was adequate enough though was on the small side, but I guess that's how it is here. Was a reasonable amount of meat. The proportion between the salad and meat was about right, wrapped in tortilla, and the wrap itself was wrapped in paper.
The interior decor is very nice and spacious, on a prime location, on a corner/junction of a busy road (Silom Road).
I'm yet to try the curry and rice dishes from here, so I'll try to keep an open mind, but based on my limited experience of having just shawarma from here,...
