Silom Square Market — Local services in Suriyawong Subdistrict

This is one of my favorite places to walk and have lunch. It's real Thai food, for Thai people. The food court gets very busy after 12noon until about 1:30p. They have a huge array of noodle soups, stir-fry dishes from different parts of Thailand. They also have load of snacks and sweets. There is a 7 Eleven across the alley if you need a drink or adult beverage. Most dishes are from 40 bath, soups 60 baht or more depending on what you order. Great location. Lots of choice of cheap food of all types. They also sell clothes, bathroom products, fruit, bakery and seafood. This Thai style daytime market is a real gem. It gets crowded at lunchtimes, so go before 12 or after 1pm.
