Thank you Mr Sam Chen, 4th Gen owner of Tae Lao Chin Seng bakery (over 100 years old) for all your recommendations of tau sar piah (red and mung bean biscuit). The traditional Teochew piah that we bought and sampled were all SO GOOD! The taste of each piah was so unique and flavourful - sweet, savoury, spicy, 香. We’ve never tasted anything like them in SG or any Asian country. And thank you for the short tour of your “factory”.
