We decided to dine at this restaurant after strolling through the night market, largely influenced by the many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the expectations.
We ordered several dishes, including pineapple fried rice with shrimp and mango sticky rice. The shrimps in the fried rice were clearly not fresh— they had a strong ammonia-like smell and an unpleasant taste. As someone who regularly eats shrimp, I found this extremely unusual. My stepfather, who worked in a renowned Dutch fish shop for over 20 years, confirmed that the shrimp was not of good quality.
When we brought this to the attention of what we believe was the owner, his reaction was defensive. He insisted the shrimp was fresh from the market. I mentioned that the rice itself was tasty, but the shrimp was not properly cooked. The dish was taken away without any offer to replace it or provide an alternative, which was quite disappointing.
Additionally, the rice in the mango sticky rice was undercooked and so firm it was difficult to eat with a fork.

Read moreThe food was excellent. All dishes were amazing. The best Thai food I have ever had. All the people from all over the world give 5 stars. Only not from some Chinese persons. With all respect, but reading these remarks I can only say don't go eat this amazing Thai food as you state that you complain on topics how real Thai food needs to be. You also go to a fish restaurant and complain that the fish hasn't got a real steak taste? Compliments to the chef!!! People, go here for the best Thai food you can imagine. Experience yourself! Greetings...
Read moreStumbled across this place when we were in old Town. It's a little off the main roads. Ordered the Cashew Chicken, Red Curry and spring rolls. The main dishes were so good, the cashew chicken is the best I've had. The only negative was the spring rolls which have been my least favourite whilst in thailand, they were soggy on the inside and the vegetables were bland inside. The waiters were lovely, although whilst we were looking at the menu outside they came out and watched us which was unnecessary. Hidden gem in Phuket. Already can't...
