Ngon Lăm — Restaurant in Wang Mai Subdistrict

I think the owner and the chief are not Vietnamese so the food is more like Thai food. Being a Vietnamese, I didn't feel like I was looking at a Vietnamese menu when the images for illustration are not familiar at all. Phở which is probably the most famous food is named as Vietnamese noodles without any photos to see and it turned out to be similar with the normal Thai noodles I normally have with the three times price. It's not Phở, the type of noodles and the soup and the beef slice, no it's not Phở 😓😓😓 Secondly, Bún Chả is also my fav food but they make it as "grilled pork noodles" and the grilled pork is really thick like the grill steak one, the soup is also not for Bún Chả either. What's more??? Stew beef with bread is the curry one. I didn't know that Việt Nam also famous for curry beef 😩 When it comes to Bánh xèo, no rice paper to wrap, they just put the whole big bánh xèo on the plate and u will need the fork and spoon to have it. Ehhh, it's not the proper way to have Bánh Xèo. Now it's about the drink, I ordered coffee as I thought it should be my strong Vietnamese coffee and then... it's Nest coffee. Ok. I'm fine. Totally fine.

Last but never least, the name of the restaurant is not even a proper word in Vietnamese with spelling mistake.

For those who are not Vietnamese, I think it could be ok for you to try but for Vietnames people, I'm sure it will let you down as...

My favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Bangkok, or probably Thailand. The new renovate place is new and spacious. It feel like home cook Vietnamese meal. Great to go as a group of family. My loved dish is fish and shrimp hotpot ('Jim Joom'). It is quite spicy as you can adjust the number of chilli to put in a pot. I would recommend this menu if your favourite are spicy hotpot. I glad that I found this place. Few days ago I was craving for Vietnamese food and I went to worst restaurants ever which is Pho 14 on rama3. I got food POISONINGS over there. Today I decided to came here with my friends. I was so scared at first, but their food was incredible delicious. All of the ingredients was fresh. Love the variety of sauce that you guys provide.
