YAMA MATCHA — Restaurant in Wang Mai Subdistrict

Worst passive aggressive services I’ve ever received. Very unfortunate for such a Great tea & desserts.

We started ordering at 15:40 and it’s our 1st time it’s take a bit time to explore the menu (there’s no line behind us) when I asked there’s a soft served? The cashier said yes and rushed us to decide right away if we want it or not.

We started ordering our tea first, and the cashier told the other colleague right away that she can start cleaning right away, no more order. (Yes, we did order the soft serve). As you see from the sign, last order is 16:00.

When our order was ready, me & my friend in the middle of conversation, we turn to acknowledge and said a moment. They start to yelling and calling us name to pick it up. The whole shop turned into silence.

I don’t see it’s their concern if the ice cream melt or the tea get cold, it’s our decision since there’s no service on this part anyway. We want to finished our conversation, and go grab it.

We might have grab it sooner, if they not staring to increase their volume since the 2nd time.

P.s. to the owner, they cleaned the machine and refused further soft serve order even before 16;00. The sleeves jackets are even...

Aesthetic place with a wide range of matcha drinks and desserts. I got the “normal” matcha latte unsweetened and can confirm it has a bitter and nutty taste to it.
