Ros Dee Ded (means very delicious) is an old famous beef noodle shop. This Ros Dee Ded The Steak House was created by a second generation in the family, a son who continues the noodle shop, and has also branched the business into many things including this steak house. They used good quality local beef for their steaks. They have both dry aged beef and fresh beef. I would not say that this is the best steak house in town, since there are many more sophisticate steak houses. However, this place is really affordable and they can hold their own when you put price as a factor, and that is why the place is popular for large groups, especially friends who come hang out after work. They also have variety of craft beers to go with the beef. The most important part of the restaurant is the owner himself. He is there at the front desk to greet and help when you come in, and always ready to help recommending what is good both for the food and the beers. He was so nice that he told his recipe for their fried eggs to a customer who asked how they cooked the egg. From his recommendation I chose a Rouge Japanese IPA to go with a 200 gram dry aged rib eye. The Steak was good. Then the owner asked if I could eat a little bit more, because he would like to recommend his most popular dish, the chilli basil beef with rice. Since it has always been my favourite dish, I agreed to try. It turned out to be really good. The beef was cooked right and the chilli basil sauce was spicy and tasty. The bill for the steak and beer came out a little under 1, 000 bath, which was half or even 1/3 of what I would have to pay elsewhere. When the bill came I reminded the waiter that I also had the chilli basil beef. She told a surprised me that, it was on the house. So, considering everything, the atmosphere, the friendly service, the quality of the food, and the affordable price, this place is very recommendable. The restaurant also has other menu, Thai dishes and western foods like pasta.

Tender dry-aged Thai beef that surprisingly has good fine dining quality and worth the try. My first tried orders were the first on the menu list, Thai dry aged sirloin or something, really good price and Australian Ribeye, turned out the Thai dry-aged was the winner. Only let down was the burnt part on the outside but the inside beef still a good tender beef, otherwise it would have been perfect, best Thai steak I tried. Supposedly because it’s dry-aged, I presume. Again for a price I paid for, considered an affordable high quality steak, it changes my experience on trying dry aged meat, I’d love to try again. The restaurant locate on the main Rama IV road, there’re also many local noodle restaurant near by and the actual ”Ros Dee-Ded” beef / pork noodles just a few shops away. The parking is a bit hard to find, available parking space are either along the curb but only later in the evening, otherwise it safer to turn into the alley and park by fresh market parking lot. Food is excellent, I have no complaints about that. But... parking is a problem, and they have three different locations to eat different types of food, say there's a steakhouse where they serve only steaks, and if you want to eat noodles (which was my original purpose), you need to walk about 300 meters, and that noodle place looks just like a standard sidewalk stall with no air-conditioning. There is also a grill & BBQ place but it requires reservation in advance. So we had to give that up. Overall, I like the food there, but it's very inconvenient if, say, you want to order steak and noodles. Would be great if they could serve all their foods in one location so you don't have to eat steak first and come back another time for...
