The Bagel Shop — Restaurant in Tunis

A charming shop sitting in a strategic area in La Marsa Corniche. Decor is extremely pleasing; other than the bagel station, I really loved the wall that was filled with The New Yorker covers from different years. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. Place is very sanitary. Menu is really hard to pick through because you want to try all of the bagels but I really enjoyed the Italian everything bagel with beef bacon. Fun to have an authentic bagel shop in Tunisia! Service was kind and there were lots of options, plus they had a vegetarian option which is great! You can also buy the bagels by themselves for about 4 Dinar each. Downsides is that it’s overpriced for what it is and on some sandwiches they added items that wasn’t advertised on the menu, and the pace to dine in is really small so I’d recommend taking it to go. I have to admit, I was quite surprised when I saw a real New York authentic bagel shop in Tunisia, It’s like you’re getting a bagel on the streets of manhattan, fresh warm bagels with fresh ingredients made me want to come back again and again and again.
