Before visiting Arwin Roof Restaurant, we called to confirm if they had vegetarian options, and the caller assured us they did. However, upon arrival, we found almost no vegetarian choices, and the staff seemed unfamiliar with vegetarian requirements.
Challenges: • Language Barrier: Communication was difficult, as very few staff members spoke or understood English. This made ordering especially challenging, and we eventually placed our order with the chef’s help, though it was more a result of guesswork than clarity. • Limited Vegetarian Options: Despite assurances on the phone, there were almost no vegetarian choices. With the chef’s assistance, we ended up with fried vegetables and a vegetable salad, which was far from satisfying.
Positives: • Atmosphere & View: The ambiance was vibrant, with stunning views, which would be enjoyable for a relaxed visit. • Kind Gesture from the Owner: The owner was kind enough to offer Turkish tea, which provided a nice photo opportunity but didn’t add much value when we were truly looking for a meal.
Additional Notes: • Pricing: The menu was on the expensive side compared to other restaurants in the area, especially given the limited vegetarian options and language challenges.
Ratings: • Menu: 2/5 • Service: 3/5 • Hospitality: 4/5 (thanks to the owner’s gesture) • Taste: 3/5
Overall: Arwin Roof Restaurant may be a good choice for non-vegetarians and those interested in wine, but vegetarians may want to look elsewhere. The language barrier and limited menu options impacted our experience, though the atmosphere and views are worth...

I mean no menu, no asking us what we want to drink nothing! we were sitting and thinking what is happening! the waiter was washing glasses behind the bar for at least 10-20 min and ignoring us! after a while of this happening I got up and went to him and asked about when we could go to buffet! he said go sit we will bring you stuff! you don’t need to go to buffet! he didn’t even ask us if we want coffee or tea! He brought some tea and a very selected items from the buffet which were not the ones we wanted! he told us at that time that we can’t go to buffet ourselves and that is for the hotel guests! If we would have known up front, we would have definitely go elsewhere. the mediocre breakfast without fruit and stuff that we liked like tahini and etc was 89$ for 4 adults and one kid! We have had wonderful breakfast just across the street with fraction of the price and actually got coffee that we wanted!! Would not recommend it at all! not sure why this restaurant has 4.8 stars!!! The view is...
