Hali̇l Usta Kebap & Lahmacun — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

Wow, what a Total Disaster. The waiter brought two plates after we ordered one. But I remember we double-checked the order. Also his recommendation (beef? even not sure) smells so bad. And that was too much than we asked and even dirrerent from what we ordered. He asked us again and again to order drinks. The best part was that he said we had to pay the service charge and laughed when we told him to stop kidding us. After we revealed anger, he erased it. I went there because the reviews were good. It was midnight and we were crazing a good Lahmajun. We were happy to see that it was off the beaten path and not very touristy. Unfortunately the Lahmajun was not good; could it be because we were there late and it was not a fresh batch? Maybe he reheated some old ones? Regardless we were very disappointed. I tried the kaşarli lahmacun (cheese lahmacu) which liked a lot! It is essentially a very thin pizza with ground meet. I tried the kaşarli Pide, it was nice but nothing exceptional I tried the rice pudding which was honestly disappointing. It was VERY sweet it got me bit nauseated (but that's probably on Turkey I general)

All in all I had the kaşarli lahmacun several times and liked it a lot. strongly recommend it.
