We had high hopes for Napoli Gourmet, but unfortunately, our experience took a downward turn. The warm welcome with a complementary shot and a candle set a great tone, but things started to unravel when we ordered the Gourmet Pizza and Linguine alla pescatore. While the homemade pasta had potential, the marinara and frutti Di mare (seafood) seemed pre-integrated, pasta overcooked and far from al dente. The saving grace was the pizza, light and airy, although it was disappointing that they were out of prosciutto crudo, which was foreshadowing of what was to come...
The real disappointment came at the end. The out of stock limoncello as a digestivo was understandable, but being charged 500 Turkish lira (over 20 euros!!!) for two small shots (which the waiter suggested as an alternative), even with political or tax/import fees factored in (as another waiter kindly addressed) really didn't sit right. Despite the kind explanation from the other waiter, any digestivo shouldn't come at such a steep price, especially in comparison to it being as much as the pizza and pasta... and even cheaper than an aperol spritz.
Contrary to management's reply on other reviews, we didn't receive a complimentary espresso or exclusion from the service fee. While the service fee itself is fair, the inconsistency in what's offered raises a question mark.
Ultimately, it's frustrating that these issues marred what could have been a 5-star experience. The food and service had their positives, but the pricing and the discrepancies left us with a just-above...
Read moreWalking around the district Tomtom accidentally came across this restaurant. I paid attention to the interior and the friendly hostess-waitress meeting at the entrance. I went into the restaurant and was pleasantly surprised!!! Friendly waiters speak English fluently and some of them speak Russian and will help you sort out the menu. And the owner of the restaurant personally pays attention and agreed to cook me pasta, which was not on the menu by special order.
As a compliment - an aperitif of mango, pineapple and vodka, the delicious mini-cocktail to open your appetite. I wasn't hungry and ordered only one dish. The pasta itself is homemade and in perfect condition aldente. Anyone who lives in Turkey can understand that in any restaurant in Turkey they really like cooking very çok well-done pasta🫣 So! The pasta in this restaurant was delicious!!! The prices are very adequate and a glass of wine at a good price! 🍝 🍷
And the best part is the friendly family atmosphere of the restaurant. If you want special attention, an atmosphere of warmth and Italian pleasure in the state of Aldente - I recommend visiting the restaurant ❤️
UPD❗️ After the first visit, I also came to the restaurant several more times! TRY PIZZA - IT'S A FOOD ORGASM! The taste is the same as the famous pizza in...

The owner now told me he is italian , maybe in his dreams, because their food is 0% authentic, thanks for asking by the way, I AM more italian than you, I lived in Italy for more than 5 years, i know what is good and what is not :). Save your money and spend it at another GOOD restaurant, this is a big fail, and scam. I was scammed , i was charged one extra dish I did not eat or order, their staff cannot even speak English properly and misunderstood me and then charged me extra, it is very embarassing that they cannot even speak English. Most of the good reviews are tourists with no clue or fake, don’t fall for it guys :) . And I have PROOF of the scam , black on white on the bill and I have three witnesses that can confirm, what do you have? Nothing ! Because you scam your customers and deny everything on Google :). If you want McDonalds quality food then come to Napoli yeees, but if you want to spend a lot of money on EXCELLENT quality food and authentic italian food go somewhere else . It‘s not about money, it‘s about quality …pay less for bad and pay more for good, and...
