Sofia Garden — Restaurant in Fatih

Hiii! As a 12 year old who came here with my family after touring around the Hagia Sophia, we came across this place by the time it was lunch. They had so many options to choose from, and I chose the Fettuccine Alfredo. I also shared with my parents and little brother. The food came in less than 10 minutes! I was like, how is that possible? Along with that, the food was downright AMAZING. I was so shocked. The waiter was so polite and nice, we treated him like a friend and vice-versa! They also had a playground. You know, the casual restaurant setting playground. Nothing too extravagant, but me and my buddy had lots of fun. After a few minutes, we met a really nice woman who actually turned out to be the owner's wife! She was so sweet and we talked for minutes and minutes about our lives. I told her I would leave a blooming review on the restaurant, and here I am.

Servers did not understand English (“sparkling water”). I understand you should speak Turkish in Turkey, but this is a hotel restaurant at an American chain (Hilton), not some local spot.

Slow - our food (just 3 items) took forever. A woman who was seated after us finished her meal before our food came.

At the end, we paid a male server. A female server later asked us to pay. She didn’t understand when we said we paid the man. She came running down the street after us until we showed our receipt, and then she said sorry. It is not her fault, and she was nice and just doing her job, but the male server should have told her that we paid - terrible service!

Sofia Garden offers a delightful atmosphere with a quiet, friendly vibe. After touring Topkapi Palace, it was refreshing to find this beautiful oasis with trees and a fountain. Our food was fresh, prepared to perfection, and absolutely delicious. They serve the best Mojitos in Istanbul! Emir, who greeted us at the entrance, went above and beyond in hosting our party – he felt more like a First Class Concierge. Our waiter, Ahmet, was very attentive and charming, providing excellent service. I adore everything about Sofia Garden and love their cat-friendly policy.
