Elasophia Hotel — Hotel in Fatih

We stayed for a week in this amazing hotel. At the beginning I just booked only 2 nights and thought if in case I don’t like the place or service I will change for the rest of my visit days in Istanbul. However, when I saw the clean rooms and beautiful location and especially very helpful, polite and super friendly staff I definitely changed my mind and extended my stay there with peace of mind.

Few minutes walk from the main historical places which was very convenient to visit throughout the day with my mother. Because she can’t walk for an along distance.

Breakfast was wonderful and always served on time. Very delicious and fresh food, fruits and vegetables and especially different types of cheese.

The staffs of the hotel are very responsive. You just tell ask them once to do something and no need to remind them at all. Special appreciation to Mr.Muzaffar who was handling the hotel and also helped us with arranging the tour guides. He knows the right people who can take you to the right places of Istanbul and makes sure that your visit will be unforgettable. And in general he’s a very nice person who always ready to help, guide and support with any questions and requests. He speaks English, Russian and Turkish fluently and has great experience in hotel industry.

Overall our stay was excellent and satisfying.

Recommend all of who visit Istanbul with friends or family.

the best hotel to easily visit Istanbul. is located 30m from the Aya Sofia Mosque and direct tram access (2min walk) allows you to travel to all other places of interest. the rooms are good, they have everything you need for a short stay. the breakfast room is beautiful and the food is good. The staff are absolutely lovely. Special mention to Mustafa! our return flight was canceled and we found ourselves homeless because the hotel was full and we couldn't stay two more days in it. he went out of his way to find us another hotel, took us there, settled us in, and checked every day that everything was okay with us. he even organized our return transfer, always with a smile and a good heart. we also thank Muzafir for his kindness, as well as all the service staff. This hotel is pathetic ||I am visiting turkey with my wife and aged parents, trusting the rating on trip advisor and the travel but to our unpleasant surprise||1.the aircon has a mind of its own||2.the rooms are on level 1 and 2 with no lifts and if you check in the night how your luggage gets to the room is your problem||3.most of the lights in the room don't work !||4.most of the rooms have no windows...if you are over 5-1/2 feet tall you are sure to bang your head against the ceiling ||5.the shaving mirror is positioned so low, one will have to squat to look at his or her face||6.the attitude of the staff...rude,unfriendly, lackadaisical.||7.Noisy ...sound of traffic,people talking from ||I can go on and on and on ...
